Bradley
Today is Nov. 28th, 2009. Five years ago today our beautiful son was born. And even though we was only here with us for a short time. I am so grateful that we were able to know, hold, cuddle and rock him for a short while. I am so grateful for the gospel in our lives and that we know that because of a loving Heavenly Father we are an eternal family and that one day we will be together again and we will be able to raise our son. And even though the sadness comes back from time to time I am grateful that I am lifted up by the strength of my Father in Heaven and I know he gave his only begotten Son to Suffer for me so all I need to to do is ask and the sadness is gone and I’m filled with love. I love you Bradley Tyler.

Snow on the grass
I love to watch my girls get so excited to play in the snow. They just couldn’t get ready fast enough this morning so they go walk in the snow before school today.

35, walking with a stick
So I ‘m driving in the car chatting with girls. Sammie asks me how old she has to be to kissed. I wanted to say never, but I told her when she’s married. So then she asks me how old I was when I got married and the same about Warren. I told her we were 21. Then I said that when I was their age my dad use to tell me that I had to be 35 before I could even date. Then with out missing a beat Abbie says, “35!! You would have to walk with a stick if you were that old!!”

Sammie
We went up to Primary Childrens today for Sammie’s check up and all went great. She is gaining the right amount of weight (I wish someone would tell me that). And her lungs sound clear. All the labs and chest x-rays will be back

We’re not as young as we used to be.
So last weekend we had a family BBQ to celebrate my sister-in-laws graduation form BYU and my dad’s birthday. And my brothers and I started remembering some of the games we played as kids. One of them was the Bag Game. We played it all the time with our cousins.
So just for fun we thought we would play it. The game goes as follows, get a paper grocery sack. Open it open place it in the middle of the floor. Then everyone takes turns hopping on one foot to the bag, bending over and picking it up with their mouth, and you can’t use your hands either. (Its a good idea to move any and all hard objects or small children out of the way) Then with the bag in your mouth you hop back to your spot. After everyone has had their turn you cut about 1 inch of the bag off and round 2 begins. And the game continues on and the bag gets shorter and shorter. Your out when you put your other foot down or use your and to help or you just fall over.So we moved furniture out of the way, and began to play. We laughed at our selves until our sides and faces hurt. I will say that we did pretty darn good for being about 15 years older than the last time we played this game together.
But the next morning told a different story, my bum was killing me and I know one of my brothers had shine splints. But with all the pain we caused ourselves it was worth the evening of fun and laughter with my brothers.

Hair bows
My newest obsession, little girls hair bows. With all of my little cuties I should have learned how to do this years ago.

Bathing suit shopping
I feel that bathing suits should be banned. 5 kids and 4 c-sections, not so kind to the figure, even if you are on the thin side. I think I might have scared little Izzie for life, she joined me in the dressing room as I pulled and tucked myself into a bathing suit. I think I might invest in a wetsuit.
